But huh? Samsung's next smart watch could be the Galaxy Watch 3

The technical specifications of the next Samsung smart watch have already been exhausted, and both the Wi-Fi and LTE versions of the product are already at Anatel for approval. Now, an international certification body is receiving data from the device as well, and presenting us with some surprises.

First of all, the NBTC confirms the 41mm and 45mm sizes for the next South Korean smartwatch, when the most common in this segment is 42mm and 46mm sizes. Okay, Samsung wants more compact products. What makes little sense is the name the manufacturer apparently gave the product.

Galaxy Watch 3. Yes, apparently the company wants to jump from the original Galaxy Watch to the Galaxy Watch 3, just like when it ignored that between the Galaxy Note 5 and Galaxy Note 7 there should have been a Galaxy Note 6.

The certification hardly points to an incorrect device name, but nothing is impossible. If the name is kept, the decision may be related to the Active 2 line, launched last year. With so much exposure time, and promotions linked to the Galaxy Note 10 and S20, the South Korean may be afraid of the consumer market to understand that the Galaxy Watch 2 would be the same watch.

In any case, the now Galaxy Watch 3 should have a mechanical rotating edge, Gorilla Glass XD protection, water resistance up to 5 ATM and MIL-STD 810G military certification.

There is still no talk about the price of this toy, but we know that by betting on a more premium product, the Galaxy Watch line charges expensive for that.

The officialization of the watch should take place alongside the revelation of the Galaxy Note 20at the beginning of the second semester.

And you, what do you think of Samsung naming it like that? Tell us in the comments!
