Anyone with a ticket purchased for festivals will be entitled to a voucher of the same value, valid until December 2021. However, whoever wants to be refunded in cash, must wait until 2022.

Music festivals and shows "of a similar nature", scheduled until September 30, will only be allowed with marked seats and distance rules, and ticket reimbursement only in 2022, according to the proposed law.

According to the document, which entered Parliament this Friday and will be discussed on the 14th, an exception is made to the ban announced on Thursday by the Government on the calendar of summer music festivals and other similar events. .

“Until September 30, the shows can take place indoors or outdoors, with a marked place and with respect to the capacity specifically defined by the Directorate-General for Health, according to the rules of physical distance that are appropriate in view of the evolution of the pandemic of covid-19 disease ”, reads in the proposal.

The proposal is applicable to the rescheduling or cancellation of shows not performed between February 28, 2020 and September 30, 2020. Whoever bought a ticket for events within that period, can only request a refund from January 1, 2022.

Until then, you can request the exchange of the ticket for a voucher “of equal value to the price paid”, valid until December 31, 2021, and this voucher can be used in the “purchase of admission tickets for the same show to be held in new date or for other events held by the same promoter ”.

The rules are similar to the cancellation of tourist trips because of the new coronavirus. "If the voucher is not used by December 31, 2021, the holder is entitled to a refund of the amount, to be requested within 14 working days", the document reads.
