On the iPhone! Facebook begins testing dark mode for iOS system users

Facebook began, on Friday (26), to make dark mode available to a small number of users on iPhone and iPad for testing. And users have already started showing the news on Twitter.

Screenshots on the microblog show that Mark Zuckerberg’s platform has implemented the novelty without fanfare to some people in recent days, more specifically in the new version 14 of Apple’s operating system. Here’s what the visual change looks like:

The social network even confirmed that it began releasing the feature to “a small percentage of users globally at the moment,” according to the socialmediatoday website. Until then, the functionality was only present in other services of the company, such as Messenger, WhatsApp and Instagram.

In the specific case of Facebook, dark mode had reached the desktop version to all in May this year, when the new design of its interface became available. But the mobile app hadn’t been graced yet.

At the end of April this year, users have already come to disclose the novelty in beta phase, but that time it was still in iOS 13.

So, what did you think of the new dark mode tested in the mobile app for Apple’s system? Tell us!
