One of the rooms used in The Crown series recordings will be available for rent on three different dates. The price is set at 359 euros.
The King’s Suite is located in Belvoir Castle, England, and was used in some scenes in the filming of the acclaimed "The Crown" series. Netflix's original series is a biographical story about the reign of Queen Elizabeth II of the United Kingdom and whose third season debuted last month on the streaming platform.
The royal quarters are now available to the most common mortal on Airbnb, reports the Observer. The rental platform has, so far, three dates for the night: December 31 and January 11 and 25. The castle, which is on the outskirts of London, was originally built in the 11th century and will welcome two guests for the price of 359 euros.
The room, which attempts to replicate the atmosphere of Windsor Castle, should easily be recognized by any lover of The Crown.
“The King suite is a truly unique space with a fascinating history and I am so excited to share it for the first time with guests on Airbnb,” said the Duchess of Rutland in a statement.
In addition to the room, five o'clock tea will be offered, a dinner in the State Dining Room and, finally, a cocktail in the library. This 'immersive experience' is intended to make guests immerse themselves in the world of 'The Crown', almost as if they were truly there.
At reservations will be available from 1 pm on December 20th and proceeds will be donated to Rainbows Hospice for Children and Young People.
